Now I'm not a Brony but I came to an appreciation of one of the better cartoons on TV for this generation. For those not familiar My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is about a band of 6 pony friends that fight evil, and whatnot that while being the best of friends without being insufferable. This is the weirdest movie I watched with a flowery color palette.

After being crowned Princess Twilight, Twilight Sparkle awaits the Princess summit when her evil twin steals her crown.
Bet you never saw me coming.
Her teacher and trolling ruler, Princess Celestia informs her that that was Sunset Shimmer (now do you believe me) and she used to be her student but turned evil because...Friendship is hard. She instructs her that she must chase her into the mirror and bring back the crown in 3 days or it will be lost for 30 moons (2.5 years). So she and her slave- I mean assistant Spike travel through the mirror into the unknown. Then this happens...

Not long after new world adjustment and a episode 1 callback she runs into Sunset Shimmer.
There's only room on My Little Pony for one of us.
After meeting with her best friends (at least counterparts of them) they help her plan to dethrone Sunset and help her become Prom Queen- I mean Princess. Too bad that Pinky Pie knew the plot as if she wrote this herself.

Yeah Sunset refuses to let Twilight go but won't stoop to harming Spike to do so. After Twilight calls her bluff Sunset decides that taking the crown by force is the only way to get what's hers.
Wow, talk about let down.
After turning into a full-on demoness she explains that with her new power she will rule Equestria with her teenage zombie army. Soooo what is Twilight Sparkle to do...
Now that's just silly.
The battle ends after zapping Sunset shimmer so hard it reverts her to her regular form...and to tears.
Now it would make sense to bring you back
and reform you like we did Nightmare Moon
but...there's only room for one of us.
With that Twilight Sparkle returns leaving this dimension balance in shambles (Sunset Shimmer isn't suppose to be here) and her new friends like this.
Bummer ending...
But cheer up Pinkie at least this movie is over.
Despite my joking this was a good little romp, it was as fun as the show and the idea was well done but the story needed to be longer and it wasted the movie's villain Sunset Shimmer. She would have made a good addition to the regulars and had her own story to tell but since she was left behind we won't see what could have been.
