Revue Reviews: Galaxy Goof-ups Episode 1

Remember all of those disco bits I posted? This is the show they're from, a 13 episode spinoff of  Yogi's Space Race comes one of the stupidest things Yogi Bear has ever appeared in. But what do I know it's not like I watched almost every episode of is crap. So with week before my departure let's take a quick rundown of the first episode.

The show surprisingly starts in space where we see a princess of sorts tending her flowers repeating one of the most annoying lines a princess could repeat since "Inuyasha".

Physics was never Hanna-Barbera's strong suit.

Some Space hag Zangra and her robot flunky fly in, turn her flowers into a Venus flytrap to capture her. Despite her capture she warns them that the galaxy goof-ups will come to her aid (Yeah, goof-ups will totally help this situation). Strangely news of this travels fast because Captain Snerdley, the Goof-ups commander sends them out for the rescue...or he would if they weren't doing this...

File Not Found (Blip.tv got shut down, sorry)

And we come to the main attraction of the show, the disco bits. Not to be confused with the pseudo music video bits from Jem, while those had a point these are well trippy... and not in a good way. Snerdley sends Officer Quack-up (A new character who died once this show got cancelled) to get them to mount a rescue.

After some mild slapstick they make it to Zangra's ship to free the princess.

Well, excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me princess.

Zangra uses all of her haggish tricks to stop them. Dragons, retarded robots, plants but these four dumbells prove too much for the mighty Zangra.

This is their leader folks.

In a last attempt at defeating the goof-ups she fires an icebeam at their ship as they escape but uh-oh, the princess is looking at herself in her hand mirror and the beam bounces back and freezes her instead. Oh and this is just the abridged version, you have to watch through 20+ minutes of nonsense just to get the full experience of suck. Well until next time.

Revue Reviews: Wizardry I-II-III - Story of Llylgamyn

I don't know what to say...what can I say but I hate this game. I asks for so much and gives sooo little and I'm not ragging on the graphics, no this game is not recommended for the sane.

You create a band of lowly teenagers (seriously all your characters are 14-16 at the start) and send them into the Mad Overlords maze of sorts. Look, this is the first game I played that when a character died, they died for real. This can happen after the first five minutes, but I still won...

You'd be surprised how many times that can happen. I really don't like the alignment system mostly, along with the "dice roll" level ups it makes class changing just about impossible.

And it's great to know that there's a PS3 game out for this series too. Yeah, SNES permanent deaths are one thing but I'd like to see the guy's face when his crew gets killed in HD.

Yeah, I'm a bad enough dude to finish this game.

What I've been up to

Well after taking a break I've been working on...

Well as you can see there's a Jem parody coming up as well as some more games.

Oh, not again!!

Revue Reviews: Crayon Shin Chan Orato Asobo (Arcade)

Shinnosuke Nohara the one true mischief maker in his first arcade debut. Well, what could be done with a show about a 5 year old pissing off as many people as possible?

This guy is a frat boy in the making...
The story is from what I can gather is that Shin and his mom, Misae (Mitsy in the dub) are in a special contest and they have to get to contest hall across the city. On the way they run into characters from the show.

Almost all of them...
To win the Grand prize, each time you run into these characters you play a mini game that ranks up as you win and ranks down when you lose. It's fun at first but there's not that many mini games and it loops often.

After beating the same mini games 20 times in a row you get a choice of 4 possible endings, I like the one where he gets the pearl necklace for his mom but the others well...

Pick which prize Shin will mess up!

I bet Shin is like "Guys are you surprised I did that?"

Another international incident averted.

Curse you Chocobes!!!

It's still a great game even if I barely understand the text. Some of the intro and cut scene animation is good as well.

THAT'S OUR SHOOOW!!
